Second Chemo yesterday.
The really good news is that the swollen Lymph Gland under my arm pit had been ZAPPED and the nurse could not feel it! Looks like the Chemo has attacked the little buggers, kicked ass and won - Hooray!
On the other side of the coin had a long day with loads of waiting around. Appointment at 1030 and got out at 1830 due someone not ordering my treatment! Was a little annoyed but ended up waiting around to get it done. So far feel tired but OK and hope that the rest of the week won't be as bad as No 1.
Nothing else to report so speak later in the week.
Thanks

ps. Chris has done so well this week, he is eating and not in as much pain as last time. Yesterday can you believe I even spoon fed him strawberries in bed, when he had finnished I went upstairs to do some jobs and was feeling very upset that he didn't have the strength to feed himself only to hear him leg it across the bedroom a couple of minutes later. I thought the worst and ran to him thinking he hust be vomiting or something only to find him on the PS2, he had run like the clappers back from the loo as his race was about to start!!!!!!!!!! This chemo effect is definately very strange.
Good to hear round 2 went well. Keep eating those strawberries, they've become my friend after chemo - helps with the constipation :) I'm glad you're doing lots now, I was too for about a month and a half. I realized that I told you I had 4 treatments, well I guess I blocked one out, because I've had 5. Also, I'm a little jealous that you're having a beer, I was told no drinking until chemo is over, something to do with lots of drugs going thru your liver. Who knows. Anyways, I'll keep checking back and you do the same! I'm going to link to your blog. My friend also shared a blog of her friend that is pretty interesting, you should check it out as well - he really did a lot on it http://prestonhunt.com/hd/
Take care,
Kelly
PS Thanks Vicky for the comment! Both of you feel free to email/comment me whatever if you have any questions.
PPS Congrats on the lump going away - my visible lumps were gone after day 1 of chemo, that's some strong stuff!
